See Jane Nurse

My Art

My Heart Art. This site is an attempt to merge my love of art (all things expressive) and sometimes words together with my experiences as a nurse…and a new nurse at that. That is a sort of way of coping I suppose. Some of the art on this site is my own, if it is not I will site the original. All of the poetry is my own, but anyone of you readers may eat them if you like. Eating words will never cause any weight gain.

What I like to do is express my experiences through art…it helps me to remember certain concepts. Maybe I will add more words.

I am writing to find out how I might go about getting permission to use an image I found on your site. The pastel image of a lung would be sized down to 80 pixels by 80 pixels if used. Please let me know how I should proceed.

    Regards,

To piggy back onto this last question. The image on the arteriovenous fistula which has a band on the bottome that says Mayo clinic…how do we get permission to use this type of picture on a website?

I am not sure. If I use original “artwork” in the traditional sense I try and site the person to give them credit.
Medical drawings that are found on the internet I am not sure how to site them. I suppose it cited itself my having the mayo clinic on it. I am not sure.

I too am writing to ask permission to use heart/lung pastel image I found on your site. It is so beutiful. I am trying to come up with a logo for fund raising campaign for a co worker who needs a double lung transplant. I would need to alter to tranform it into a logo.

    Thank you.
